Who We Are

Crisis Response International is a nonprofit based in York County, South Carolina. We exist to bring hope, help, and the love of Jesus to people facing crisis both locally and around the world.

**What ReachOut Is**

Crisis is not always a large-scale disaster. Many people are carrying quiet, personal challenges. Showing up locally allows us to respond before situations escalate and reminds people they are not alone.

ReachOut is a local, hands-on opportunity to serve individuals and families who are walking through real hardship. These days are designed to give you a way to step in, meet practical needs, and offer care where it matters most.

This is not just about completing projects. It is about seeing people, showing up with compassion, and responding to what is right in front of you. Whether someone is facing loss, transition, or unexpected difficulty, ReachOut creates space to bring both practical help and personal care.

You will serve alongside others, build connections, and experience what it looks like to carry hope into everyday situations. It is a simple way to get involved, learn more about what we do, and be part of something meaningful in your own community.

What To Expect

Each ReachOut includes a short orientation, team assignments, and guided opportunities to serve. Projects may include yard work, minor home care, organizing, or supporting individuals in practical ways. There is always a focus on both action and connection.

Who Can Join?

Anyone willing to serve. No prior experience is required. Families, individuals, and small groups are welcome.
